This rare bean is grown in the majestic hills of the Blue Mountains that rise up to elevations of 7,500 feet. In this hilly, rugged terrain the climate is cool with lots of rain and the soil is rich. This is considered perfect for growing coffee.

Talkin' Blues comes from the region within the Southern slope of the Blue Mountains, which is the oldest coffee growing area. This Typical variety coffee is produced under banana, Inga, mango and many other shade trees. This protects the soil and river basins from erosion.

The coffee cherries are handpicked for quality control, graded by size, density and color. The green beans are then inspected by the Coffee Industry Board of Jamaica (CIB) the regulatory body established to protect the quality of Jamaican coffee. Talkin' Blues has been recognized by the CIB and carries the official Certification/Trademark of Jamaica Blue Mountain.
